Our Paper

Paper is at the heart of everything we do. It’s a stable, low-energy medium capable of preserving sentiments for decades. Unlike digital alternatives, which rely on constant energy and hardware that can sit in landfill for centuries, paper has a simpler, less damaging life cycle — it can be recycled, repurposed, or returned to the earth with minimal impact.

We print exclusively on paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), meaning it’s sourced from responsibly managed forests. Our carefully chosen uncoated paper stock preserves the soft, delicate quality of each hand-drawn illustration while remaining fully recyclable and biodegradable. The result is a card that feels luxurious and tactile, designed to be both cherished and gentle on the planet.

Our Packaging

All our packaging is minimal and completely plastic-free. We use paper belly bands and re-use production boxes where possible for wholesale orders. Customer orders are sent in recyclable, cardboard-backed envelopes, and where extra protection is needed, we use biodegradable sleeves made from renewable materials.

Our Process

Each card begins as a hand-drawn illustration in our South East London studio before being crafted in small batches here in England. Producing this way helps us reduce waste and avoid overproduction. Every card is then carefully packed by hand to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
